John Snow
Boys High School Coach

Growing up in upstate New York, John began playing lacrosse at the age of 8. He was a standout player and four-year letterman at Auburn (N.Y.) High School before moving on and earning four letters as an attackman at NCAA Division I Cornell University of the Ivy League. As a freshman, he played in the 1988 national championship game as Cornell, lost 13-8 to Syracuse University. In his final season of 1991, he received All-Ivy League recognition while leading the Big Red in scoring (44 points) and assists (25). Snow later played for a professional team in Melbourne, Australia and was an assistant coach for the 19-and-under Team Australia squad at the World Games. In 1996, he was a member of Team USA when lacrosse was a trial sport at the Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta. Last season, Snow served as an assistant coach for the boys’ team at Johns Creek (Ga.) High School. John is currently the Head Coach at Reinhardt College in Waleska, GA. Reinhardt plays in the South Eastern Lacrosse Conference of the MCLA.

Originally from Auburn, N.Y., John earned his Bachelor of Science degree in general studies/business communications from Cornell in 1992. He currently resides in Canton, Ga., and is the father of a 9 year old son and 7 year old daughter, who both play lacrosse.
